Tools, Supplies for a Christmas Angel Craft for Kids and Adults

Gather all materials needed for this tutorial:

  • a small styro ball
  • a popsicle stick
  • ½ cm wide red satin ribbon
  • a pair of scissors
  • hot glue
  • a piece of yellow and beige or white construction paper
  • a piece of red or maroon construction board

Step by Step Hanging Christmas Angel Tutorial

Christmas Angel Craft For Kids - Step 1

Step 1:   Cut the cardboard into two parts.  One is one-third of the total size of the cardboard while the other part is two-thirds.

Step 2:   Fold one-third cardboard into several zigzags.  The width of each fold would depend on your preference.

Step 3:   Hot glue one side of the folder board to the popsicle stick.  Make sure that the inner end of the cardboard is situated in the middle part of the popsicle stick.

Step 4:    Stretch the free part of the zigzag cardboard and reach the other part of the popsicle stick.

Step 5:   Hot glue the other free end of the zigzag cardboard to the popsicle stick.  This will be the angel’s arms.

Step 6:    Get the other two-thirds cardboard and do the same zigzag folding on it.  Make sure that it has the same width as the first one.

Step 7:    Put the ends together on the other side of the two-thirds cardboard and hot glue it on the middle part of the popsicle stick where the one-third cardboard was glued.  This will serve as the angel’s main robe.Christmas Angel Craft For Kids - Step 8

Step 8:    Cut a small concave from the white or beige construction paper.   Create some designs on the curved part of the concave.

Step 9:   Hot glue the concave paper on top of the angel’s body.  Make sure that the linear part of the concave is parallel to the popsicle stick of the angel’s body.  This will serve as the upper part body of the angel’s robe.

Step 10:  Hot glue the styro ball on top of the popsicle stick or the arms of the angel.  This will be the angel’s head.

Step 11:   Cut a small star from the yellow construction paper.

Step 12:   Hot glue the star in the middle of the white or beige concave part of the angel’s body.
